Terms of service
Last updated 6 November 2026
These terms cover your use of jobindex.space and its services, run by JobIndex (“we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What JobIndex is
JobIndex collects public job listings from employers’ career pages and job boards, and lets you search them. Every listing links back to where it was published. We are not the employer and not a recruiter: we do not decide who is hired, and we cannot promise that a listing is accurate, still open, or free of mistakes. Always check the details on the employer’s own page before you apply.
Your account
You can search without an account. To save jobs or use Pro you sign in, for example with Google. Keep your account secure and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You must be at least 16 years old to have an account.
JobIndex Pro
- Pro costs $4 a month (plus any tax), as shown on the pricing page.
- It renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account, and Pro stays on until the end of the month you paid for.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
- We may change the price. If we do, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
API and Data plans
- The API plan costs $19 a month and the Data plan $39 a month (plus any tax), as shown on the Jobs API page. Both include Pro and renew, cancel and change price the same way.
- Using the JobIndex API needs an API or Data plan.
- With a plan, while it is active, you may show and use the data in your own products and services. Keep each job’s link to where it was published, do not present jobs as your own listings, and do not resell the data as a dataset.
- Rate limits and download allowances are described in the API reference.
Payments
Payments are processed by Whop. JobIndex provides the service and handles billing support and refund requests.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law, or use JobIndex to harass, deceive or spam anyone;
- overload the service, get around its rate limits, or copy the index in bulk except through the published API and its limits;
- try to get into accounts or systems that are not yours.
We may suspend accounts that do these things.
What you put in
Your CV, profile and saved jobs stay yours. You let us store and process them only to run the features you use, for example tailoring your CV to a job. How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy.
AI features
CV tailoring and the assistant use an AI model. Their output can be wrong or incomplete: read it before you send it to anyone. You are responsible for what you submit in an application.
Availability and liability
We work to keep JobIndex running, but we provide it “as is” and cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for decisions made by employers. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. If a change matters, we tell you before it applies. You can stop using JobIndex at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@jobindex.space.
